During 2000-2001 Landmark Credit Union offered an Easy Home Improvement book with any new home equity loan. This program enticed homeowners to open a home equity line of credit and gave them home improvement ideas to encourage activation of the line of credit. |

The YWCA Centers for Home Ownership have been using Home Repair and Improvement Books since 1994 as a learning tool for the participants of the YWCA Home Ownership program. The books are used in home improvement classes and given to the participants at the end of the course. |
