dollar they spend. The points are redeemed for rewards of books
and CDs. The program ran with various book titles and CDs from 1996
to 2000.
CAMBRIDGE
Philip
Morris customers were offered Williams-Sonoma Breakfasts & Brunches
in the Cambridge brand holiday catalog. The consumer redeemed 110
UPC's in order to receive the cookbook. This promotion launched
in December 1998 helped increase sales and brand loyalty for that
month and 1999.
BENSON & HEDGES
Philip
Morris customers were offered Williams-Sonoma Hors D'oeuvres in
the Benson & Hedges Summer "Moments of Pleasure" Collection
catalog. The consumer redeemed 50 UPC's in order to receive the
cookbook. This promotion was launched in May 1998 and helped increase
sales and brand loyalty the remainder of 1998.
GENERAL MOTORS
Williams-Sonoma
Outdoor Cooking was a selection in the General Motors 2001 Employee
Reward Catalog. Employees earned points throughout the year and
spent their points by choosing items from the catalog.
This program
was implemented with Entrees of Excellence, Inc.
KRAVET'S
Kravet's
Furniture Stores rewards their customers through a points rewards
program. The customer earns points for each purchase of furniture,
fabric and trimmings. In 2000-2001, with 21,000 points, the customer
could choose a set of three design books: Color, Seasonal Home and
Storage published by Time Life books.
